Terms and Conditions

General-

All goods for hire remain the property of Elegant Affair. All prices quoted are for 1 days hire unless otherwise arranged in advance. All goods for sale remain the property of Elegant Affair until payment in full has been received.

Booking & Cancellation-

A non-refundable deposit of £25 will be required to reserve the goods for your event. Bookings must be made in person and must be accompanied with the relevant deposit. Upon booking an order form will be completed with your requirements. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and all final monies should be paid in full six weeks before the function. All cancellations must be made in writing. If we for reasons beyond our control have to cancel an order we will return all monies paid in full and undertake to recommend another reputable company. Late orders can be accepted subject to availability and where such orders are accepted, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Loss or Damage-

We require a security deposit of £100 which will be refunded in full within 7 days if all goods hired are returned or collected complete and without damage.Lost or damaged goods will be charged at their full replacement value no substitutes being accepted by Elegant Affair. Replacement charges lists are available on request.

Payment-

Payment in full is required 6 weeks before the event. If full payment is not received then the order will be cancelled, and the hirer notified by letter. We will endeavor to contact the customer prior to this happening. Cheques are accepted. Payment must be by cash or bank transfer or Paypal.

Liability-

Elegant Affair shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from any goods under hire, however sustained.

Risk-

The risk in the goods will pass to the hirer immediately upon completion of the venue set-up. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that the goods are fully covered by insurance in respect of damage, loss and theft .

Please note that the Terms & conditions form must be signed by the hirer at the time of booking.
